제목은 공포영화의 제목이 아니고 팻두라는 힙합가수의 노래 제목인데요.
멜론 한달 무료이용권이 생겨서 이 노래 저 노래 다운 받다가 요놈의 평범한 곡(?)이 베스트 50안에 있더라구요.마흔한살 회사원이랑 여고생이랑 사랑해서 결혼하게 되는 뭐 그런 평범한(?) 노래에요. 랩을 감칠맛나게 잘 하더군요 감정이입도 잘 하는것 같고.

그래서 다른 노래도 들어볼까 하고 팻두의 최근앨범을 보다가 여친토막살인,인체해부를 발견했어요.

요런 가사의 노래를 AM 1:00듣고 있자니 등뒤가 참 궁금해지더군요.
특히나 여친토막살인은 멜로디가 밝아요 -_-;; 밝은 멜로디에 적절한 효과음과 완전 미친놈같이 몰입해서 랩을 하는 팻두의 음성. 노래 듣고 무섭다라고 느낀건 처음 입니다.

암튼 잘 모르는 가수지만 끼가 있네요. 매니아도 상당수 거느린 듯 하구요.
저도 뭐 노래가사가 어쩌니 저쩌니 했지만 비하할 의도는 아니구, 상당히 개성 넘치는 아티스트 한명 발견 했다는 말입니다요.
앨범이 2CD로 skit포함 40곡이 넘어요.그리고 이 곡들이 스토리텔링 기법으로 유기적으로 연결 되고 있습니다.참신한 시도네요. 궁금하신분들 오늘 팻두의 이야기를 한번 들어보세요. 맘에 들고 안들고는 각자의 취향이겠지만.

역시 이번에도 5, 60년대, 즉 팝이 가장 아름다웠던 시기를 재연해내고 있다. 하지만 꿈결같은 어쿠스틱 사운드는 오히려 세련된 구석이 있다. 느긋하고 또한 건강하다. 낡은 사운드와 감미로운 멜로디의 매력은 오직 자신들만이 만들어 낼 수 있는 색깔을 통해 마음껏 발산되고 있다. 오래된 시대의 댄서블한 팝과 스코틀랜드, 그것도 글래스고에서만 가능한 필살의 멜로디가 합쳐져 비로소 놀라운 앨범이 완성됐다.

캐치한 멜로디는 2집과 3집의 노선을 그대로 이어가고 있으며 필 스펙터를 연상시키는 꿈결같은 월 오브 사운드(Wall of Sound)는 더욱 심화시켜 놓았다. 트레이시안느 캠벨의 2008년도 올해의 리스트에는 엘 페로 델 마(El Perro Del Mar)의 [From the Valley to the Stars]가 있기도 했는데, 그녀의 곡에서 느낄 수 있었던 우아한 안타까움 역시 쉽게 감지할 수 있었다.

무심하고 귀여운 보컬은 가끔씩 그리움을 환기시킨다. 곡들은 약간의 권태 또한 품고 있는데 슈게이징까지 가지는 않지만 이 에코/리버브는 푹신푹신한 부유감을 선사하곤 한다. 물론 이들은 하던 것을 계속 하고있는 것이지만 굳이 억지로 요즘의 움직임과 연결시켜 보자면 슈게이징이 다시 고개를 들고있는 시기이기 때문에 작금의 미디어라던가 인디록 팬들에게는 다른 의미에서 쉽게 어필할만 여지로 이것이 비춰질 수 있다.

영원한 소년 소녀들을 위한 노래이다. 가사들은 기존과 마찬가지로 유독 사랑의 아픔을 표현하고 있다. [French Navy]의 가사에 등장하듯 “좀 통제가 됐으면 좋겠는데 사랑은 내가 어떻게 할 수가 없다.”는 맥락이 앨범전체를 관장하고 있는 듯 보인다. 앨범의 제목처럼 ‘나의 감상적인 경력’의 총체인 셈이다. 하지만 이 단락의 머릿말에 표기했듯 트레이시안느 캠벨은 이 ‘경력’을 끝내려 한다. 13년째 이래왔는데 더 이상 슬퍼하는 것은 이제는 좀 힘에 붙일 수도 있겠다.

소리 하나하나가 모두 꿈을 꾸고 있는 듯 하다. 사람에게는 무릇 각각의 추억이 있기 마련이다. 그것들이 이런 류의 노스탈직한 멜로디에 녹아 새롭게 소생하고 있다. [French Navy]의 가사처럼 이 앨범과 우리는 ‘운명의 장난’으로 만나게 됐을런지도 모른다. 음악이 왜 일상에 반드시 필요한지 본 음반을 당신의 포터블 플레이어에 꼽아 넣는 순간 깨닫게 될 것이다. 황홀한 애달픔에 빠질 준비가 됐다면 주저하지 마실 것.

Waking Ashland was formed in November 2003 by singer/keyboardist Jonathan Jones, guitarist Ryan Lallier and drummer Thomas Lee, all of which were at that time music majors at California State University, Northridge. Robert Teegarden — a friend of the band — temporarily helped out to fill the vacant position on the bass guitar. Their band

name stems from the aspect of connecting people through music, paired with a reference to the town of Ashland, Oregon. [1] Influenced by as diverse acts as Joe Jackson, Coldplay, The Pixies and Hüsker Dü, Waking Ashland combines emotional piano melodies with sonic distortion guitars, creating a unique sound among their genre.

In early 2004, they self-recorded and released their debut EP I Am for You. Simultaneously, the line-up was completed by guitarist Nick Rucker and bassist Derek Vaughn, replacing Teegarden. However, the two soon left the band, and a permanent bassist was found in Andrew Grosse, frontman Jones’ former bandmate in their Christian accented high school band Formula316.[2] Without record label distribution and solely through word of mouth promotion, the CD’s first pressing of 1,000 copies (being only available through the band’s website and at their concerts) sold out within a month.[3] To date, the six-song CD managed to sell over 10,000 copies.[4] Its success landed the band a booking agent and allowed them to drop out of college, to pursue a career in the music industry.

The adage of too many cooks spoiling the broth can be universally applied on a number of levels, particularly in artistic relationships, where, for example, too many musicians’ egos clash during the writing and recording of an album. But in the case of New York-based indie rock outfit Via Audio, having three-fourths of the band penning material for its SideCho debut album, Say Something, Say Something, Say Something, has only made a great collection of tracks even greater.

Drummer Danny Molad, vocalist/guitarist Jessica Martins, guitarist Tom Deis and bassist David Lizmi discovered each other as musical kindred spirits while at college in Boston back in 2003. Within a year, the band had begun performing locally, and its self-titled EP became their calling card. In mid 2005 the band began work on a new album, but the album fell victim to hard drive failures and sporadic recording schedules. It was during this time though that Via Audio began generating attention from some highly established indie rock peers. Death Cab For Cutie’s Chris Walla fell in love with the group after stumbling across their MySpace profile. Being dubbed Walla’s “favorite new band” in Under The Radar was a giant boost to the band’s confidence, but it was admiration from another high-profile peer that would eventually lead to the completion of Say Something.

Cymbals was a Japanese rock band active from 1997-2003. The trio was comprised of vocalist TOKI Asako, bassist/guitarist OKII Reiji and drummer YANO Hiroyasu . While breaking up in September 2003, they played a final 90-minute farewell concert at Shibuya O-East on January 20, 2004. The members are currently remain active musically in solo projects.

London, England (2005 – present)
Cajun Dance Party are a 5-piece band based in London, England. They consist of Daniel Blumberg, Robbie Stern, Max Bloom, Will Vignoles, and Vicky Freund.

The band came into being when guitarist Robbie Stern invited Daniel Blumberg (vocals), Max Bloom (bass guitar), William Vignoles (drums) and Vicky Freund (keys) to start playing together, originally to participate in their school ‘battle of the bands’ in 2005. In their first few band practices, the 15 year olds began working on their first four songs, ‘The Next Untouchable’, ‘Colourful Life’, ‘Amylase’ and ‘Buttercups’, which were recorded as demos and submitted to their myspace site shortly after.

The band played their first few shows at the West London all ages club night ‘Way Out West’, performing in the bar beneath Brentford FC football stadium. Way Out West was well known for putting on many up and coming bands such as Jamie T, Late of the Pier, Video Nasties, and Laura Marling. The organizer of the event, Keith Anderson, began to manage the band shortly after. Their first single, ‘The Next Untouchable’, was released on Anderson’s record label as a limited edition 7” single, with 500 copies being put into production.

Cajun Dance Party’s debut album was entitled The Colourful Life, and was released in April 2008. The band recorded the album sessions with Bernard Butler at the recording studio, West Heath Yard, owned by Edwyn Collins.

재작년인가 한번 포스팅 했던 곡인데 오늘처럼 어투컴컴하고 비오는, 왠지 몽환적인 오전에 어울리는듯 해서 ^^;

Engineers are not like any other band. Onstage Simon Phipps is the singer, Dan Macbean is the guitarist, Mark Peters is the bassist and Sweeney is the drummer, but the real clue is in their name: they approach their music like engineers, carefully constructing wonderful walls of sound.

Following the rapturous reception that greeted their mini-album Folly in 2004 and debut Engineers the following year, it’s taken them a long time to build the epic that is Three Fact Fader. After initial recording sessions with producer Ken Thomas, Engineers became unwitting victims of record company restructuring and the album was left in limbo, unfinished until the band reconvened earlier this year, largely motivated by public support. “We seem to appeal to people in a really deep way – people tell us our music has helped them through intense times in their lives,” explains Mark Peters. “This is why it was so important to get the album released, it means so much more than the peripheral aspects of releasing records.”

It’s not just lyrically that Engineers have a deep emotional resonance; the music itself has an overwhelming sense of purity and beauty that you can completely immerse yourself in. It was this tendency towards epic soundscapes that saw Engineers lumped in with the nascent shoegaze revival when they first appeared; now that the scene that celebrates itself has gone overground with the reformation of My Bloody Valentine and high-profile compilations from Rob Da Bank and revivalist label Sonic Cathedral, it seems as if Engineers have timed their return perfectly.

동유럽의 리듬과 멜로디, 유태 민요를 독자적으로 소화한 독특한 음악성으로 유럽에서 높은 평가를 받고 있다고 하는 영국밴드, Oi va voi의 2009년 5월에 발매된 앨범 “Traveling The Face Of The Globe”의 수록곡 “Everytime”입니다. 뮤비는 원곡의 인트로 부분을 조금 삭제했네요.원곡의 인트로가 좀 언발란스하다고 느껴지기도 했습니다만.

장기하를 비롯, 능력있는 인디뮤지션들 덕분에 요즘 인디음악이 그 저변을 넓혀가고 있는 가운데 인디음악의 무료 스트리밍을 제공해주는 Blayer라는 사이트가 있습니다. 인디 뮤지션들의 가입,음원 사용 허가의 단계를 거친 음원을 스트리밍 해주는 방식인데요. 사이트도 I-Tune 같이 생긴 군더더기 없이 깔끔한 모습입니다.

아직 다 둘러보진 못했지만 등록된 뮤지션도 많고, 주옥같은 노래도 참 많네요.

2003년에 결성된 스웨덴 인디팝밴드 입니다. 밴드의 첫 이름은 ‘Galaxy Gramophone’이라는 쵸큼 인디팝에 안어울리는 밴드명이었네요.

지금의 밴드명인 Second-Hand Furniture는 여성보컬 Miralda Madar Johansson이 합류하면서 그들만의 사운드를 찾게되고 결국 ‘Galaxy Gramophone’이란 이름은 버리고 변경된 밴드명입니다.
여성멤버가 지저귀듯 노래하는 밴드에 ‘은하계 축음기’는 정말 안어울렸겠어요 ㅋ

Hi-fi에 길들여진 귀에는 영 싸구려 처럼 들리실지도 모르겠지만 통통 튀는 반주와 전혀 편집을 가하지 않은 여성 보컬의 목소릴 즐겨보세욤
